  • Astral Projection Log
Information about Charles, the nonphysical spiritual teacher I've channelled since 1981.
A log of my adventures in consciousness, including lucid dreams, OBEs, projections to higher planes, and other spontaneous, non-drug-induced altered states.

I usually have a dozen such adventures in the course of a year, sometimes more, sometimes less. Not all of them are as long and complex as those recounted in Otherwhere and The Unanswered Question.

Some are near misses, others brief but interesting. The longer ones often raise tantalizing questions about the nature of the states of consciousness, energy bodies, or regions of nonphysical reality that I'm exploring. A few are as rich and well-developed as anything I’ve published in my previous books.

You’ll have a chance to read them here, just as I recorded them in my dream journal, before I’ve incorporated them into a future book.

Each adventure has its own title, which includes information about the energy body I was in and/or the plane I was on. For further information about the energy bodies and planes, click HERE.

About my numbering system: "AC" stands for "Adventure in Consciousness". I began cataloging these experiences in 1984. I’ve had nearly three hundred since then. A gap in the numerical sequence means that a particular adventure was too personal to make public.

A brief overview of the energy bodies and planes I make reference to in the Astral Projection Log.

I've paid close attention to my dreams for over thirty-five years. For the last twenty-five of those years I've kept a dream journal, recording in it from one to a dozen dreams almost every day. It takes about an hour for me to write down and interpret such dreams. I've found them an invaluable source of insight into every area of my life. And I've come to believe that psychological health and wholeness is dependent on such a process.

In this eight-part Crash Course in Dream Interpretation, I describe the techniques I use to help me remember, record, and interpret my own dreams, as well as those of others.

Annie_Besant_sepia_150.jpg Welcome to the Annie Besant Shrine, gateway to A Bibliography of Annie Besant (1847-1933): a compilation of bibliographic information for over 1400 books, pamphlets, and journal articles by the great theosophist, spiritual teacher, and social reformer.

All I write is equally theosophical and religious, being directed to the evolution of the spiritual intelligence in man exerted in spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical departments of human life; they all form part of one great movement for human progress and liberty and order. [Statement of August 10, 1917, while interned by the Madras government as politically dangerous.]

While labouring chiefly in religious propaganda and educational work, I used the light of Theosophy to illuminate political questions where great principles were involved, just as they are involved now. The question of Home Rule for India is no question of party politics: it is a question of principle, of the liberation of a people from autocratic rule. [New India, April 21, 1915.]
